We're created to worship and commune with God! Jesus is so worthy and beautiful. He loves our joyful, heartfelt praise. When we gather, we seek His presence together through worship, surrender, unity and prayer. We believe in creating an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit is free to lead, speak to us and transform our hearts. We give time to minister to those who need prayer in our services because prayer is powerful and effective. We pray you experience a new depth of God's love for you and His freedom in these times of prayer and worship!

We love the Bible - God's love letter to us. The Bible doesn't edit the truth - so why would we!? We preach the full Gospel and speak authentically about real issues with love and grace. Our sermons and teachings explore what real faith looks like in today's world to help us all thrive as disciples of Christ. Whatever stage of life and faith you may be in, Jesus has a message of hope and love for you! We pray that as you hear God's Word, your faith is strengthened, your understanding of God's heart and character grows, and you are inspired to live out your calling!

We're created for relationship. Church is about coming as we are, connecting with God and others and leaving transformed. We value hospitality, fellowship and communion around the table. Whether you're skeptical about Jesus, or are running hard after God, we encourage you to consistently get around people you can learn from and grow alongside. Where does ADVENTURERS meet?

Our church gathers in our ministry center, a beautifully renovated home in a residential area. We ask visitors and their kids to be considerate of this multifunctional shared space and our neighbors. Please do not to block driveways or speak loudly in the street. Free street parking is available all throughout Ingomar and Oso. We are fortunate to use this space for our Sundays services, prayer and events throughout the week, baptisms, and more. We also have a beautiful library!

How can I connect with ADVENTURERS sermons and teachings?

Is my financial gift to ADVENTURERS tax-deductible?

Yes! ADVENTURERS is a registered non-profit organization and your financial gift of any amount is tax-deductible. Each donor, tither and supporter will receive a year-end receipt. We can also gladly provide you with a receipt at any time you need.

Who leads ADVENTURERS?

Argisht and Melody Younesi are lead pastors of ADVENTURERS church. ADVENTURERS began as a missional ministry in 2023 with worship at its heart. Out of their LA worship nights, an LA church plant was born in September 2024. Argisht and Melody are spiritually accountable to Reverend Luke Yeghnazar, Melody's Dad and the couple's spiritual father, as well as Rev. Dr. Ron Crum, who ordained them into the ministry alongside Luke in 2024.

What language is ADVENTURERS?

Our heart is to connect people, even across cultures. We are a multilingual house whose heart is open to people of all backgrounds in our Los Angeles community. While we mainly communicate in English, we have many Farsi and Armenian-speakers and provide translation as needed in our services. It is important to us that all people visiting ADVENTURERS feel seen.

I live far/ I am part of another church - How can I connect with ADVENTURERS community?

We've cultivated a beautiful community of believers and leaders from across the globe through our weekly ZOOM sessions. These digital meetings are open for all to attend and grow in their relationship with Jesus. If you want to hear God's voice more clearly, if you want to grow in your gifts, if you want to live with greater purpose and serve your local church and community with anointing - join a weekly call! We have seen new church plants spring up in the nations out of this online community.

I'm unsure about visiting a new church... what should I do?

If you're experiencing anxiety about visiting church, just know that many people may feel uneasy about stepping into a new community or turning towards faith. We would love to connect for coffee or jump on a call before your first Sunday experience to get to know each other better! Our community is an accepting space for people from all walks of life looking to learn more about Jesus and Christianity. Authenticity, discretion and respecting boundaries are important to our community. And it is through our love that the world will know we are Jesus' disciples.
