About ARG + MEL

Argisht and Melody were both born to Armenian families and raised in the Church - Argisht in Tehran, Iran, and Melody in Los Angeles, California. 

They both grew up surrounded by giants of faith and felt a strong call of God on their lives since their early childhood.

Melody's late grandfather Papa Seth founded the Spirit-filled church movement in Iran in his family home after a supernatural encounter with Jesus in 1955. These nightly revival meetings went on for four years and are where many leaders of the Church of Iran (and some of its martyrs) were saved, baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit.

As revival spread, Papa rode his bicycle to another part of town to do meetings in Arg's grandparents' home. Their home became known as khoone kelisa ("house church") in the neighborhood.

Melody was marked by deep encounters with Jesus in her youth. She grew in her love and service of Jesus and joined the worship team when she was 15.

Arg came to the US in 2006. After spending his teen years away from church, he had a come-to-Jesus moment in 2007 and rededicated his life to Him.

Arg first saw Melody when he walked into Iranian Church of Los Angeles - the church her parents founded and pastored. She was playing drums (his favorite instrument) with the worship team.

On their first date, they spoke about living a life of adventure with Jesus, traveling sharing the Gospel in the nations. Little did they know how prophetic that conversation would be!

Love grew strong between them despite the difficulties and losses they experienced in their early years. They were married in 2014, vowing to adventure wherever the Lord would lead them. God opened doors for them to serve in churches, television programs, on worship and creative projects, with youth, and more. 

In 2018, they felt led to lay down their careers to serve Iranian refugees full-time in Turkey. They were entrusted a broken church in 2019. By the guidance of the Holy Spirit, they saw much fruit over two years of ministry- even 600+ souls in the Iran region and beyond added to the Kingdom!

They traveled simultaneously, ministering among youth in national conferences and recording live worship programs watched throughout the Farsi-speaking world.

They returned to Los Angeles in 2021, burned out - but by God's faithfulness, they were restored and healed. 

They began ADVENTURERS in 2022 - a nonprofit missional ministry serving locally and internationally through worship gatherings, digital discipleship, and revival events seeing people saved, healed, and launched into their God-given purpose. 

In 2024, Argisht & Melody were ordained as pastors and planted ADVENTURERS Church - a local church and global community who believe life with Jesus is a beautiful adventure!

The heart of ADVENTURERS is to connect hearts to God - to create atmospheres where people encounter the life-changing power and presence of Jesus. 

They love to see believers become wholehearted disciples,  walking in authority, enjoying life with God. They have witnessed many lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit all over the world.
